Ankit Kumar (Enl.ID- 2091845) belonging to an economically disadvantaged Family comes from the rural region of Jalaun. His father family’s sole bread earner is a farmer. As a result, increased living costs have made it hard for him to meet the basic needs of the family. This compelled Ankit kumar to choose a job that helps him provide support for his family.
One day, Ankit Kumar came to know about DDU-GKY and the various training programs under the initiative. He considered this to be great opportunity and visited the Late Shri Shiv Balak Ram Swarnkar Smriti Shiksha Prasar Sansthan(Brilliant Computer Institute) Dibiyapur,Auraiya where he met the training center counselor, He enrolled himself for the 4-Months course where he became proficient at his skills and sectorial knowledge. Additionally, he also learnt how to converse in Basic English, operate computers, present himself, write resumes along with theory and practical classes, after completing the course, he was placed at Omanta Nursing Service as General Duty Assistant with a monthly salary of Rs.12000.He has been working effectively and happily for the previous few months and is content with his job. Ankit is one of those successful aspirants who have obtained better livelihood opportunities from the Skill India Mission training initiative. We wished him for his bright career ahead with Omant Nursing Service and must be thank full to Mord and UPSDM, Lucknow for such initiative.
