Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana (DDU-GKY)

Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana (DDU-GKY) is the skilling and placement initiative of the Ministry of Rural Development (MoRD), Government of India. DDU-GKY has its origins in the Aajeevika Skills programme and the ‘Special Projects’ component of the Swarnjayanti Gram Swarozgar Yojana (SGSY). The scheme focuses on catering to the occupational aspirations of rural youth and enhancing their skills for wage employment.

Implementation of DDU-GKY involves State Governments, Technical Support Agencies like the National Institute of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj (NIRD & PR), and Project Implementing Agencies (PIAs).

MoRD has notified the Guidelines and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to be followed while implementing the programme. It is mandatory for all project functionaries under DDU-GKY to be trained, assessed and certified in the Standard Operating Procedures.

Uttar Pradesh Skill Development Mission (UPSDM)

Under the National Plan, the State of Uttar Pradesh aims to skill over 4 million youth by the end of the 12th Five Year Plan. In order to achieve this target and provide employable skills to the youth of the State, the Uttar Pradesh Skill Development Mission (UPSDM) has been instituted. Based on the learnings and experiences of other states, the Government of Uttar Pradesh has developed a unique structure for UPSDM. UPSDM acts as an integrated mission which combines the efforts of various State Departments in achieving the skill development targets for the State. UPSDM is the implementing agency for skill development targeted at enhancing employability in Uttar Pradesh, subsuming the targets of various State Departments such as Rural Development, Urban Development, Labour, Minority Welfare, Social Welfare, etc. Established in 2013; mandated to coordinate all skill development initiatives, leveraging on State Skill Development Policy, UPSDM empanelled Private Training Partners in addition to Govt. Training Partners for conducting skill development trainings.

Gem & Jewellery Skill Council of India (GJSCI)

LSSBRSSSPS/Brilliant Computer Institute study center of Late Shri Shiv Balak Ram Swarnkar Smriti Shiksha Sansthan has been affiliated with Gem & Jewellery Sector Skill Council as a Training Partner for Skill development programs.

Formed in 2012 under the aegis of the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) and currently functioning under the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE). Gem & Jewellery Skill Council of India (GJSCI) is the nodal entity for skill development of the Indian Gems & Jewellery industry.

It covers skilling under all the areas and functions of the industry such as diamond processing, colored gemstone processing, jewellery manufacturing, wholesale, retail and exports.

Gems and Jewellery industry currently employs about 4.64 million employees and is slated to employ an additional of 3.59 million by 2022.

Telecom Sector Skill Council (TSSC)

Telecom Sector Skill Council, a non-profit industry driven body set up under the aegis of the NSDC would strive to:

Create a viable ecosystem by implementing an "integrated approach" by prioritizing initiatives that can have a catalytic effect to develop competency based framework of world class excellence for skill development and quality assurance of personnel in the Telecom sector

Narrow the existing gap between demand and supply of skills by increased collaboration between the three primary stakeholders i.e. HR, Industry and academia Up-skill and certify 45 Lacs personnel in 150 trades, train 24,000 trainers, accredit 500 training organizations and to cover the whole country progressively over a period of 10 years by signing MOUs with around 200 industries

Management & Entrepreneurship and Professional Skills Council (MEPSC)

MEPSC is a recognised Awarding Body by the Skills Regulator – National Council for Vocational Education and Training (NCVET) and is supported by National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC).

MEPSC is targeting to train and certify nearly about 4.75 lakhs trainees by developing and framing 50 Qualifications Packs (QPs)/National Occupational Standards (NOS) including training of more than 550 Trainers over next 10 years.

Healthcare Sector Skill Council (HSSC)

Healthcare Sector Skill Council (HSSC) has been promoted by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), National Skills Development Corporation (NSDC) and Healthcare Industry Leaders representing both public and private sector.

The key objective of the Council is to create a robust and vibrant eco-system for quality vocational education and skill development in Allied Healthcare space in the country. In addition, the Healthcare Sector Skill Council aims to serve as a single source of information on healthcare sector with specific reference to Skill and Human Resource Development in India.

Logistics Sector Skill Council (LSC)

LSSBRSSSPS/Brilliant Computer Institute is associated with the Logistics Sector Skill Council, one of the popular sector skill council, governed by its Governing council comprising eminent Captains of Industry, with Mr. R Dinesh (CMD, TVS Logistics Services Ltd) as Chairman.

Electronics Sector Skills Council of India (ESSCI)

LSSBRSSSPS/Brilliant Computer Institute is associated with the Electronics Sector Skills Council of India (ESSCI). ESSCI's focus is on establishing an effective and efficient ecosystem for developing and imparting of outcome-oriented skills for the Electronics Systems, Design and Manufacturing Industry (ESDM). ESSCI's mandate comprises plethora of deliverables including development of curriculum, courses, information database, delivery system. ESSCI is responsible for standardization, accreditation and certification processes to enhance the employability of the Indian workforce globally.

Agriculture Skill Council of India (ASCI)

LSSBRSSSPS/Brilliant Computer Institute is associated with the Agriculture Skill Council of India (ASCI), one of the popular sector skill council. ASCI works towards capacity building by bridging gaps and upgrading skills of farmers, wage workers, self-employed & extension workers engaged in organized / unorganized segments of Agriculture & Allied Sectors.

Automotive Skills Development Council (ASDC)

LSSBRSSSPS/Brilliant Computer Institute is associated with the Automotive Skills Development Council (ASDC). Automotive Skills Development Council (ASDC) was incorporated as a society under the Societies Registration Act, 1860 in March 2011 and is promoted by the automobile industry through the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM), Automotive Component Manufacturers Association (ACMA) and Federation of Automobile Dealers Association (FADA) and Government of India represented by Department of Heavy Industry and National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC).

Apparel, Made-Ups & Home Furnishing Sector Skill Council (AMHSSC)

LSSBRSSSPS/Brilliant Computer Institute is associated with the Agriculture Skill Council of India (ASCI), one of the popular sector skill council. AMH SSC has been launched with a primary mandate of enhancing and to build a capacity in skill development. One of the salient features of the AMH SSC is designing of the training programmes, based on industry demands of different segments and to ensure that all successful trainees are certified through accredited assessment agency. AMHSSC has been authorized by NSDC for evolving assessing proficiencies of skills of trainees for the apparel sector, made-ups and home furnishing for their respective subject areas.

IT-ITeS Sector Skills Council (IT-ITeS)

LSSBRSSSPS/Brilliant Computer Institute is associated with the IT-ITeS Sector Skills Council (IT-ITeS). SSC NASSCOM exists as the national standard setting body for technology skills, working in close coordination with the industry body NASSCOM and under the aegis of NSDC. We live in a continuously changing world that's increasingly reliant on new, emerging technologies. SSC is working to accelerate the transformation of the education and skills ecosystem to position India as THE global talent hub.

Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikash Yojana (PMKVY)

Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) is the flagship scheme of the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE). The objective of this Skill Certification Scheme is to enable a large number of Indian youth to take up industry-relevant skill training that will help them in securing a better livelihood. Individuals with prior learning experience or skills will also be assessed and certified under Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL).

Pradhan Mantri Gramin Digital Saksharta Abhiyaan (PMGDISHA)

The Scheme has been initiated with the vision to empower at least one person per household with crucial digital literacy skills by 2020. This is expected to touch the lives of more than 250 million individuals over the next few years. PMGDISHA is an effort to complement government's vision to transform one from each household as digitally literate. The project aims at helping adults with low technological literacy develop the skills they need to interact in an increasingly digital world. The Pradhan Mantri Gramin Digital Saksharta Abhiyan is a dynamic and integrated platform of digital literacy awareness, education and capacity programmes that will help rural communities fully participate in the global digital economy. Our focus is on making technology central to enabling change.

Our organization has enrolled 18000+ candidates under the Pradhan Mantri Gramin Digital Saksharta Abhiyan programs all over UP till may 2018.

Electonics System Design and Manufacturing (ESDM)

The employment in the Electronics industry is estimated to grow phenomenally. Hence to facilitate skill development in ESDM sector focusing on students/unemployed youth at 9-10th standard onwards, ITI, Diploma, Non-engineering graduates, etc. to increase their employability to work in ‘Manufacturing’ and ‘Service support’ functions, a ‘Scheme for Financial Assistance to select States/UTs for Skill Development in Electronics System Design and Manufacturing (ESDM) sector’ was approved by DeitY in November, 2013. A total of 90,000 persons are to be supported under the scheme in the selected States in 5 levels of vocational skill development courses recognized by NIELIT/Electronic Sector Skill Council/Telecom Sector Skill Council.

Maulana Azad National Academy for Skills (MANAS), Ministry of Minority Affiars, Government of India

MANAS is an ambitious and over-arching skill development architecture, aimed at providing an all India Level training framework, based upon tie-ups with National/International training organizations (on PPP mode) for imparting training to the minority population, for skills that are currently in demand. MANAS will also provide concessional credit for minority community after meeting their Skilling Needs for expanding their existing businesses and setting up new businesses.

Rajasthan Skill & Livelihoods Development Corporation (RSLDC)

Rajasthan is the first State in India to establish a Mission on Livelihoods. In order to address the challenges of unemployment and ensuring gainful and sustainable employment to the youth of the state, Hon’ble Chief Minister created Rajasthan Mission on Livelihood (RMoL) in September 2004. The objective of creation of RMoL was to formulate appropriate and innovative strategies to promote and facilitate large scale livelihoods for the poor and vulnerable people of the state. Understanding the importance of skill development as a vehicle for enhancing employability of working population, RMoL was rechristened as Rajasthan Mission on Skill and Livelihoods in 2009-10.

RSLDC was incorporated as Section 25 Company, a Not for Profit company, on 17th August, 2010 with the Chief Secretary as the Chairman of the Company. As part of its major action, it established skill Training mechanism by involving training partner agencies to execute the training program across the State..
